Dr Madhu Chandratilleke is a Specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine with over 15 years of experience in the field. She graduated in Medicine and completed her MD in Medicine at the university of Colombo. After migrating to Australia she did further training to obtain fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
She has worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre in the past and also completed a General respiratory fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Currently, she works as a staff specialist at the Lyell McEwin Hospital.
Having also worked at the Adelaide Institute for Sleep health at the Repatriation General Hospital as a sleep specialist for many years, she has an interest in sleep apnoea and parasomnias. She also has experience in managing most of the common respiratory illnesses and some of her interests include chronic air ways disease, interstitial lung disease and lung cancer. She also provide bronchoscopy services and utilise endo bronchial ultra sound techniques.
